American Beauties played opening night at the 22nd Annual Black Potatoe Music Festival in Clinton, NJ sharing the stage with Nashville singer-songwriter Radney Foster.  Radney started his career in the 1980s with the duo Foster & Lloyd who had several radio hits on the Billboard country charts at the time.  He's also had a storied solo career with his classic debut record Del Rio TX 1959, which had four consecutive Top 40 hits including "Nobody Wins" and Just Call Me Lonesome.  Radney's songs have also been recorded by the Dixie Chicks (Godspeed - Sweet Dreams) and Keith Urban (Raining on Sunday).

The Black Potatoe is a unique little festival and we always have a great time playing.  Although it's a long drive down from Boston, it's always good to be on the road with the band and we wouldn't have it any other way.  We want to thank Luke Gosselin who sat in for Jonas on guitar and did a killer job.
